दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1986 : भारतीय राज्यघटनेत 54 वी घटनादुरूस्ती करण्यात आली. या घटनादुरूस्तीनुसार उच्च न्यायालय आणि सर्वोच्च न्यायालयांच्या न्यायाधीशांचे पगार या घटनादुरुस्ती नुसार बदलण्यात आले. 
Dated 01 April 1986 : The 54th Amendment to the Indian Constitution was enacted.  According to the amendment, the salaries of High Court and Supreme Court judges were changed as per the amendment. 
दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1985 : भारतीय राज्यघटनेत 48वी घटनादुरूस्ती करण्यात आली. घटनेच्या 356 व्या कलमानुसार पंजाब मध्ये सुरू केलेली आणीबाणीची परिस्थिति एका वर्षाच्या कालावधीपेक्षा अधिक काळ वाढवायची असेल तर 356(5) नुसार वर्णन केलेली परिस्थिती अस्तित्वात असणे आवश्यक आहे हे स्पष्ट करण्यात आले. त्याचप्रमाणे या तरतुदीचा वापर एखाद्य घटकराज्याच्या बाबतीत सुरुवातीच्या कालखंडासाठी करता येणार नाही. 
Dated 01 April 1985 : The 48th Amendment to the Indian Constitution was enacted.  It was clarified that if the state of emergency initiated in Punjab under Article 356 of the Constitution is to be extended beyond a period of one year, the situation described under Article 356 (5) must exist.  Similarly, this provision cannot be used for the initial period in the case of a constituent state.
दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1977 : धर्मनिरपेक्ष, समाजवादी व एकात्मता हे शब्द भारतीय राज्यघटनेच्या प्रस्ताविकेत समाविष्ट करण्यात आले. 
Dated 01 April 1977 : The words secular, socialist and unity were included in the preamble of the Indian constitution. 
दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1938 : विश्वरत्न डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांचे मुंबईतील डेव्हीड मिल चाळीपुढील सैतान चौकीच्या मैदानात प्रचंड जाहीर सभेत अध्यक्षीय भाषण झाले. त्यांनी आपल्या अध्यक्षीय भाषणात सांगितले की, “आपल्या गेल्या दहा वर्षाच्या स्वाभिमान व स्वावलंबनाच्या लढ्याच्या चळवळीचा परिणाम आपल्या अस्पृश्य पांडू बाबर किती झालेला आहे हे पुन्हा सांगण्याची आवश्यकता नाही. आज बदललेल्या परिस्थितीचे मूळ आणि मुख्य कारण म्हटले पाहिजे. आपल्या समाजात सामाजिक धार्मिक व आर्थिक उन्नती च्या दिशेने झालेले यशस्वी प्रयत्नच आहेत.”
Dated 01 April 1938 : Vishwaratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar delivered his presidential address at a huge public meeting at Saitan Chowki ground near David Mill Chali in Mumbai.  He said in his presidential address, “There is no need to repeat how much our untouchable Pandu Babur has been affected by our struggle for self-reliance and self-reliance over the last ten years. The root cause of today’s changed situation is the socio-religious and economic prosperity of our society.”  There have been successful attempts.” 
दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1935 : विश्वरत्न डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी लिहिलेल्या ‘द प्रॉब्लेम ऑफ रुपी’ या ग्रंथाचा आधार घेऊन ‘रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया’ ची स्थापना करण्यात आली.

Dated 01 April 1906 : Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj ordered to distribute the water of the river to the people by taking the river engine in a cauldron as a remedy for cholera in the state.
दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1903 : राजर्षी छत्रपती शाहू महाराजांनी कोल्हापूर नगरपालिकेतील गंभीर गैर कारभार नष्ट करण्यासाठी प्रमुख प्रशासक म्हणून भास्करराव जाधव यांची खास नेमणूक केली. 
Dated 01 April 1903 : Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj specially appointed Bhaskarrao Jadhav as the Chief Administrator to eradicate serious mismanagement in Kolhapur Municipality.
दिनांक 01 एप्रिल 1891 : राजर्षी छत्रपती शाहू महाराज यांचा लक्ष्मीबाई गुणाजीराव खानविलकर यांच्याशी कोल्हापूर येथे विवाह संपन्न.
